ALL LEVELS - 4 class course that focuses on the backbends of Primary, Second, and Third series. Each class is 90 minutes long. You do not need to practice Second Series or Third Series to participate in this course. David makes the backbends accessible to all levels of students.

What do you do with your backbending prowess?
Use it to dig through all the artificial and superficial layers of self, the falsity, the psychic dead ends, the desires that lead to energetic fools gold. Behind the layers of the unoriginal you, behind the copy cat follower who doesn’t think for or by herself, is your own view! 
Back bending tapas gives you the Shakti to receive and perceive the world with your own eyes. By arching your back and penduluming your legs back and forth over a fixed upper body foundation, you gain the strength, flexibility, stamina, and heart to use your own speak up, out, and to share.
Learn to stand up from a drop back and take a stance of independence because you care for who you are. Strength does come to you when you repeatedly shape your body into a bow. Do you have the courage to use it for a higher purpose? If your answer is ‘yes’ then keep going. If your answer is ‘no’ or ‘not yet’ then practice backbends and apply your self in earnest to bowing your spine.
